Office Star – Written Saturday 4th May 2013 (Aged 38)

Office Star

they are the star of the office
baby due,
well done
but just another mess
with the special chair or desk
and the swearing i do not mind
j just wasn’t given a fucking choice
but the bird of paradise –
with it’s sarcastic voice
flies all around me
and i have been storing quips,
funny bits and great jokes
since i needed to push out of crowds
and free my spokes
the one in, the one out approach
the day trip to oblivion
the school day type of coach
the busted seats
that feeling of not belonging
of feeling incomplete
let me or you move out of the way
