Attention Seeker

there is nothing worse
than an attention seeker
someone for whom –
there is never enough in life’s beaker
there is nothing worse
than the coward
who does not take you on
the person who judges
but never belongs
there is little to be done
about an attention seeker
nasty little people
form one of life’s shunts
trying to cross the canyon
as a self fulfilling stunt
