Footsteps
my success can only be measured –
in each and every new footstep i take
not in the money,
which i will make
it is funny,
how we measure success
it’s just money,
and it doesn’t show us at our best
it’s a disguise that lead some –
to believe that they are better than the rest
my success,
must be based on personal achievements
not just memories
which i feel like are sometimes a bereavement
every footstep i take
every one that moves me forward
leaves me so rich in many other things
