the sunset compliments the scene
i dream of this sort of beauty
but i can never seem to capture –
it in this life

whatever happened to her –
to laura?
she used to be everybody’s dream
but now,
i have just seen her, after all this time

i am trying to make my night
but it is not working –
and not a thing is going right
this weird

they ran away from me

to be a real person –

one day we change

not as we were before

i am worried –
about the state of my affairs
about my superheroes –
suddenly dying

you have to realise, all the things you have got
and realise that they could,
really drive you insane
and if you are not careful it could grow –
into something that you cannot contain
