i could melt,
into these walls
it seems no surprise
that individuality starts to call

i celebrate changes
it is hard not to grow
i cannot remember all the faces
and sometimes, that shows

some of us never learn
seem to get it all wrong
never complete the poem
cannot find the tune of the song

some parents they –
play a game of blind mans bluff
but some children reach their twenties
and say, enough is enough

do you take sugar
do you wonder at the sky
do you just wonder why

it is enough to know,
you are there
could not go on,
destroying myself
