Font – Thursday 9th February 2011

Font

i saw the font they used
even though,
the message was never sent
it lay there,
in a mausoleum
by the hotel and the bank
to the left of the museum

i saw the wreckage
float down streams
as the riverboat police
chanted a different song
and then the world,
just came along

i thought about the life
that hope would become a song
and for a while,
the burden of you was gone

i saw the font they used
amongst the birthday cards
that they never sent
in the loveliest messages
which sadly, where never meant
