The Sun and the Sea

do not complain to me
just spend the money
do you remember –
just about eight years ago
how you sung his praises
and said, we were so alike
now you are drinking too much
and all you do is fight
i could have told you then
exactly what he was like
but you seem to have an attitude
that you are always right
i do not care for your personal life
it has not got a thing to do with me
i was only there for a few days
for the sun and the sea
