The Colour Brown (Originally untitled and unfinished) – written May 2005 (Aged 30)

The Colour Brown

your attitude lets this country down
you say that england is not for the english
but i think it has more do with the colour brown

you talk about the old days
as if this country was cleaner
i think what you are trying to say
is that the grass was much greener

you ignorance is nasty and lets you down
happy to take what you can
i think it has more to do with the colour brown

you yearn for a day that does not exist
