Go Easy (Originally Untitled) – Written Tuesday 9th April 2013 (Aged 38)

Go Easy

go easy
play a game
go easy
so they will see whoever once again
i see the gain
in the glint of a painful game
i see rain
and a saturday child
waiting for the car to come around again
softly softly
do not leave footprints as you go
but snowmen and demons
leave us feeling low
what is the approach
to these people
as they swing on tyre swing ropes
applause and please
play the long game
