Almost Yesterday
i saw shifting shapes
i hope i am not too late
colours dancing before my eyes
and little white lies
i just want to hold you tight
i do not want to argue
i do not want to fight
i need something pure
i need the future to come
it is almost yesterday
the future was a couple of moments ahead
now it is gone and it is almost yesterday
like all the past, it is dead
the ghosts and memories is all we have
the thoughts we used to feel
it floats around like dusty secrets
and it is no longer real
