Horror Film Thing
you are a horror film thing
you have eyes,
as blue as the bluest sky
but they come on dark,
like the stormiest day
if you want to join me for drinks
as we sit in the sun, that is alright
i will think about it –
when i fall asleep tonight
it is time to turn the wheel of change
your skin is pale
i see you swim in a river of death
we had better start looking outwards
you are a speciality from the crew
the people who made you
i don’t need anything else but my music
if you think i am nothing like you
i will guarantee we are both losing it
and when it comes to the need for affection
i will guarantee we are both using it
let’s check what is going on
because when you go down to the alleyway
the one where darkness comes from
if you have got something to say
it has to be faster than a bullet from a gun
i have seen you, dragged out like a toy
but without no self preservation
onto all this, you really cling
you are a horror film thing
