A Way Through The Shadows
no one was else was touched –
in that same dark way
i had often felt that no one truly
no one as a blood relative
had felt and seen the darkness
that shadowed how they live
and now there is you,
just contact, just a few words
and i am humbled
part of me wants to cling
and part of me wants to cheer
a way through the shadows
with someone near
