A Time When I Fitted In – Written October 2013 (Aged 38)

A Time When I Fitted In

maybe it is an inferiority complex
that makes me feel
that other people feel
i am beneath or lower than them
i have never had
the good communication
a time when i fitted in
an institution where i belong
maybe the chip on my shoulder
is making me turn out wrong
always justifying,
because i have never had –
the guile, the belief,
to tell or question others
i remember the nightimes
of bedspread covers,
and that has never left me
other peoples justification or reason
never tcp the hurt,
ot dry the tears, they just loom over
and then, they do leer
