Wicked Ocean – Written March 2004 (Aged 29)

Wicked Ocean

i was out to sea
found my wave
but sunk my reality
the frustration
it is really getting to me
it is easier to believe
than to move people,
so they can see
the skills you need
take their toll
so i walked down to the sea
and i swam out
to meet the waves
despite all the commotion
i still sunk,
in this wicked ocean
you are the source of my hope
and the fuel for my emotion
