Company

i do not, as you think,
find socialising difficult
i like nothing more,
than the company of close friends
laughing and drinking
i do not, as you think
have emotional issues
i have never loved someone
as much as my love
and my friends are my family
and they are always within touch
who are you,
to question me?
just because you demand
yet do not get what you need
others never open their heart
yet in them, you absolutely believe
i do not, as you think
have emotional issues
somehow always capsizing my boat
my nature is private
but trust me, i am kept well afloat
