Waiting
when will i hold you
be with you,
telling you, laugh with you
a chance in the dark
seems better than a disused park
when will i feel you
and feel you so alive
with me also
a chance in the dark
is better than salt in the snow
or a creative person
with no go
low morale and ideas that do not flow
when will i hold you
i count the days
the hours and the minutes
god, it is so strange
i ache so much for your touch
and i tire of life’s games
when will i hold you
against my frame
