Death Dance With Me – Take a Chance – Written Between Tuesday 15th February 1994 and November 1994 (Aged 18/19)

Death Dance With Me

let’s dance
to the death dance of the world
let’s cry tears
for all the people
who saw their fears
and the sudden holy steeple
if it means nothing
then i am doing good
because to me is always means something
why is it that the walk through life
always feels like something is missing
death dance with me
toast the end of the world
we will not have to wait too long
i doubt that we will even be that old
it is winter now
outside it is cold
but that is not what the books tell you
people try to put off the future
because they do not know what to do

James Garratt – 1994
