Stranger Each Day – Written September 1994 (Aged 19)

Stranger Each Day

it gets stranger each day
and before you know it
someone has taken it all away
i tell you things –
that you want to hear
i need the things –
that they give to me
it all gets so weird
so weird, i do not know where i am
and so strange –
i really do not understand
this is something to remember
and i always get upset
every september
and although i have got a ghost
i remember the person
that was lost
