The World is Real – Written Tuesday 15th February 1994 and October 1994 (Aged 18/19)

The World is Real

i cried,
till i could not cry no more
and then, still i cried
what have we done
we are only young
what have we done
we wanted to show the world
that we could have what we want
and now, we have have fallen
i hurt inside,
and tonight i cried
i held myself tight
i was shaking from the fight
oh shit, the world is real
i have found out,
and i do not like how i feel
i have never felt so weird
yes, the world is made –
of exactly what we feared
i do not know what to do
no one knows how i feel
it does not matter
it cannot be as bad as you
i know i want to help
i am in pain for you
and you do not need this
i cannot hate fate
why is it always there
never late, something to hate
i am trying, trying to stop the crying
but it is hard
