Boy Thinks She Looks Like Rapunzel

boy meets girl
boy likes girl
she says,
i do too
boy thinks she looks like rapunzel
could they be true?
these fairytales
wrote amongst the fumes of glue

boy meets girl
boy likes girl
girl likes boy
girl turns out to be a psychopath
boy defends his being
trying to avoid dramas

i had a dream
where i glimpsed –
my own epitaph
and i could do,
was recline and laugh

boy meets girl
girl meets boy
boy and girl
like each other
let’s spin this owrld
oh no, the girl is a, ‘nutter’
boy and girl are a twenty four hour photo
and she is the shutter
