I Am Still Worth Something
i am still worth something
you breached the city walls
but i know i am strong
even in moments when i fail
and even though –
you mistook emotions for weakness
i am not lost in your lands
the ones of grey and bleakness
i am still worth something
it takes more than a wrecking ball
to bring down this turret of self belief
all i can do is look at you –
as you struggle in the throws of grief
