I Am Here to Be Found

i am here to be found
to be discovered,
to be enjoyed
i am boundless with hope
and my love is buoyed
i have,
the last of the corny jokes
so when people sit there
and say they are climbing up
then climbing down –
the loneliest of walls
i am here to be found
it surprises me,
well, not as such –
that people reach an age
and require meaningful touch
they cut out the middle man
and reject homespun luck
but when it is offered
they quickly become unstuck
i am here to be found
