Coffee Break
who is watching me out of dark corners?
paranoia breaks you down
and it is on my back,
like some kind of animal
some big dinosaur, something strange
something i once knew
i crawl to work, office hours drag by
start to flirt, who is watching me –
as we scrabble around in the dirt
i look at something,
something i thought i saw
and all i have in my bedroom are coffee cups
no trophies,
just empty coffee cups,
ones which i have sipped on my own, when bored
