Some people Defy Explanation

some people –
appear damaged beyond belief
they clatter when they clout
some personal trauma events –
have added to some spicy hurt to their shout

some people –
choose not to connect
they live in places which are never tidy
and there is always a mess
they spill all their emotions –
all down their sunday best

some people –
will spend the precious life they have –
throwing damaged pieces of themselves at others
only to be left wondering why life is so hard
they act as if they are totally together
when in fact, i know, they have fallen apart
