Age Has Explained The Cost
age –
has explained the cost
of opportunities taken
and opportunities lost
it has shown me –
who is the boss
and if there is a union
my subs and the cost
age –
has shown me the drop
if you leap before you look
it has shown me the cost
in the accounting book
now, when i consider decisions
age has taps its nose
and gives me that look
age
has shown me its belongings
and my achievements
what there is to lose
so making rash decisions
means it’s harder to choose
it has shown me the cost
and what happens when i blow a fuse
