Hello You
hello you –
where have been –
after so many years
hello you –
where have the good time gone
did they fly south
where is life
is it where the sun once shone
and where you once saw the light
hello you –
how do you carry on
pack up those mistakes
in an old purple bag
sling it over your shoulder
and try not to feel sad
hello you –
where have you been
the opposition –
sit behind plate glass screens
and their truth is drowned out
by traumatic screams
hello you –
i was just passing by
and a wicked memory of you
suddenly caught my inner eyes
