Look At This Room
look at this room
look at you
standing there,
looking all beautiful
look at them
more money then sense
standing there,
chained to the fence
do you hang onto a friend
from a demon’s park bench
look at this life
it is has dreams
that hand down from its rafters
maybe now it is the directors cut
the one with happy ever afters
look at you
standing there,
with your skipping rope in your hands
losing dirty words
and gaining points by the dozen
there could never be anyone else
look at this thought
it skates across the feelings
of your previously frozen heart
it joins hope with my hope
the hope which once fell apart
