Local News
nearly fifty –
is not my dream come true
holding onto my feelings
painting in shades which are new
a house to house survey
leaves me with little clues
and when i turn the dial
it is the same type of local news
in days gone by
i made up every single muse
nearly fifty –
is not my dream come true
rainbows seem to be all the same
infused with different shades of blue
i do not know what to say
the sky stretches out
like it has some kind of plan
but all this life
it leaves us with very few clues
i remain transfixed by local news
