Caught In Their Own Swell
caught in their own swell
sat here,
ringing the ships bell
i told her,
this is where i fell
and this is the pool of anger
i always attempt to quell
like them,
i am caught in my own swell
and time is the moments
that lie upwards
and time is what we never teach
caught in our own swell
on some personal beach
telling people where we once fell
