Virtual Oxygen

we are just ships in the water
invested,
in this voyage
we are supplements
in a struggling jar
we are ships,
carriers of life art
but where are we
dependent as we are
on the falsehoods
of virtual oxygen
bittersweet lovers
of constant trends
we just about float
and we are buoyed
by perception defaults
shared conditions
and seismic halts
we are just ships
the virtual world
and its differing platforms
offering us destinations
rife with division
and cancellations
we have,
so wide eyed
sailed into misinformation
we are just ships in the water
a human race of aggressive sons
longing for the compassionate daughter
