Tender Grip
you make her look ordinary
you expose,
what was always there,
right under my nose
i should not say it
and it is never fair to compare
but you make her look ordinary
and you do not play the games
that she played
you do not make it difficult
in the way she always did
you make her look ordinary
and i am so surprised
because i never realised,
i could feel like this
and now i can say,
her hold on me is finally let go
and it is replaced,
by your tender grip
you make her look ordinary
i just cannot explain,
how i ever dealt with the pain
i must have been so strange
you make her look ordinary
do not let me go,
you make her look ordinary
