Sweet Self Pity
self pity
and feeling sorry for yourself
i will drink to those
i would free my resistance
and fill up my toes
self pity
is music to my ears
and feeling sorry myself
is a symphony to my fears
there is something to be said
for self indulgence
for sitting around
and doing nothing to change the situation
laugh at depression
mimic a little happiness
try to pull off that impression
self pity
and for feeling sorry yourself
the joy of the human condition
and wanting to be somebody else
