Close The Fairground
close the fairground
if the rollercoaster,
no longer makes you feel
the big wheel,
the one that continues on
it’s here,
but the excitement has gone
close the fairground
if the clown looks down
and we no longer make you feel
if i no longer paint my tears on
it just means,
that now they are real
close the fairground
the laughter doesn’t last forever
embrace the hollow found
if the rollercoaster no longer works
close the fairground
