White Things
when you say –
that these, ‘white things’, are the problem
the, ‘white things’,
pretending to be, ‘working class’,
they are the problem
and that,
they only adopt the label, ‘working class’,
they are not really, ‘working class’
just things trying to elevate their small lives
lived with so many broken shards
scattered here and there
partners and collapsed hearts
when will they say no,
to these, ‘white things’,
and all of their dangerous beliefs
a belief that they have entitlement
but ignorance does not make you correct
when we fight back with intelligence
and reasoned debate,
when we stand up to these, ‘white things’
and we fight with all we have against their hate
