Buried Deep In a Cuddle
Tell me again,
that I am buried deep in a cuddle.
Tell me about the world,
and how it is that people can struggle.
Because my trauma upbringing
finds itself
in a form of free‑flowing rain
that causes it to be dancing and singing,
but with some strain.
So tell me,
how do these events
differ from wearing a badge?
After all,
parts of my wellbeing
remain crooked, bent, or ruefully spent.
Tell me again,
when I am buried deep in a cuddle.
Tell me about this colourful world,
and tell me of the struggle.
After all,
parts of my inside
remain crooked, bent, or ruefully spent.
Is it so hard,
or is it having to take part,
that causes people to long for a meaningful charge?
