I Am a Mess (Originally Untitled) – Written Tuesday 23rd June 2009 (Aged 34)

I Am a Mess

i am a mess
more or less
emotions dribble
from me into the gutter
i am a mess
full of baggage and clutter
look at me
with eyes falling down
each heartbeat
comes with a heavy pound
i am alive
i know now is a moment
and what it means to me
this is the most stark
and most raw time
unpack and put back
those things in my mind
