The Loss of Norms (Part 2)
we find new norms
in,
what feels like societal chaos
we are changing
and as ever, that comes with dollops of loss
buildings are clad in ivy
—- rocks roll and they are covered in moss
we find new norms
in,
change, as our veneer is shorn
fields of windswept wheat
—- harvest the corn
be forever needed
and do not, do not be love lorn
hopeful,
in this time of change
where we hang new found banners
feeling like things will never be the same
