Cascading
what a year –
it has been
am i cascading
through an opulent dream
have my fears –
finally come clean?
have my words become italic
with a natural lean
what a year –
it has been
have i trodden on the treadmill
just to hold on –
to every beat i feel
am i really
so not normal
that my imagination
has forgotten to dress formal
what a year –
i do not think in my life
i have lived days like these
the typewriter’s still like to type
and long for us to believe
am i falling though –
versions of space and time
versions,
which run parallel to mine
