Sandy Beach – Written Wednesday 6th December 2000 (Aged 25)

Sandy Beach

need you,
wonder about you
hold you
whoever told me about you,
find you,
lose you
run for the clues
on this, my daily news

need you,
tower life
and skyscraper perception
the village idiots bicycle
and no direction

need you,
pause for you
stretch, and then reach out
me and mighty mouth
heavy feet
and sodden toes
i found the sandy beach
and the feeling never goes
