The Hug From Dad They Never Received
people too self centred to step out
and look at others
one lens will do
experiences must be one shoe
and one size must fit all
and what should we do
with all these ill-educated fools
someone broke their building blocks
by using the wrong tools
people too concerned
about the hug from dad,
the one they never received
and now they will not consider others
they have to talk about the, ‘me’
any sign of compassion,
they see it as the moment they concede
one size fits all
what to do,
with these traumatised fools
