The Farmer
he is not completely useless after all
i have not heard –
the love in her bones
how she never feels alone
how he protects and loves her
and how they glide and run
how they share
and build from dreams so young
instead,
he is useless and mocked
cannot put up a shelf
always has odd socks
his copy book,
is there just to collect blots
but function is complete
and he has done one right thing
he can always use that
he has,
provided her with a baby
the saga, the drama,
she had provided the fertile field
for this seemingly useless farmer
