Squeeze My Hand
i just can’t stop this pain
we huddle indoors
from this relentless rain
we flick through pictures
and wonder,
could we ever start again?
well, i need to hold you
and yes,
i need you to hold me
just make all this right
please just squeeze my hand
and then hold me tight
i never wanted to hurt you
and feel such impoverished light
