Days Are Not to Blame
days are not to blame
love is like time
it slips through the fingers
it never seems to be mine
it leaves memories that linger
love and time
both carry a certain amount of pain
and both slip through my fingers
i live for those memories
but those are the ones that linger
days are just food
for a starving nation
time slips by as love
but that is just my daily situation
