As The World Turns
the cold wind blows
here i am
freezing to death with all the madmen
here i am
freezing away in the sun
let us all work together
let us be a little naïve
and maybe things will be a little better
here i am
and i am out on a limb
a element from the fringe
a man with an impossible dream
telling myself to go on
and trying to shield my eyes
it was better when i was young
the people came from all over
just to get things done
now i lie under cover
while i watch this world slowly turn
