Well Educated
they talk to me like i am a child
despite all their education
they look down on me
they talk to me as if i am stupid
as if classroom living,
is the only way to be
i know the value of education
i know what it means
i understand the human right to learn
to pursue their dreams
but it is not everything
it is not the straight guide to the world
so, tell me about my life then
question where i have been
you are well educated
but this time you cannot come clean
life experience is ill situated
in today’s modern young world
where the past is a dirty four letter word
and the quest for everything
means life quickly becomes absurd
