The Good Old Days
the, ‘good old days’ –
the dates,
are never specific
no date,
time or year
but for those talking –
in the language of nostalgia
they say it was much better
‘back then’,
even without,
a date,
a time or a year
i am certain it coincided –
with a time –
when they had the most privilege
the least responsibility
a disproportionate amount of power
and status completely unearned
