Window Blinds
there was a point –
where you stepped into the room
and either closed the blinds
or opened them –
just to let the sunlight in
of course,
closing the blinds was always an option
and it was always an option –
to sit in the room
and watch your mental health –
present a compelling mini series –
on the television
but then, the days passed by
with sunlight only occasionally peeping in
