Have You Ever Had Your Heart Broken?
have you ever had your heart broken?
have you ever loved someone
and somehow lost them?
have you danced late at night
when midnight feels like a heroic hold
have you ever gone out there
and put your heart on the line every time?
drinking, feeling, stealing on a feeling
making moves that leave you reeling
high tailing out of somewhere
after almost completely peeling
have you ever had your heart broken?
the glorious but almost painful
the tell all and most truthful moments
