Living With Me
the hardest person –
i have ever lived with –
has been me
hard, if not impossible –
trying to set this one free
i have to live me –
twenty four hours a day
and sometimes –
the dislike does not go away
what can i say
i am holding up –
my own notice board
sharing regrets
spending too much time with flaws
placing false bets
and the one truth is –
the hardest person –
i have ever lived with –
has been me
despite the gifts –
it is my own mentality
my occasions –
where i drown in sentimentality
hunting the past –
like it is gilded with gold
and built with such class
when in reality, it can be so cold
and clearly, it does not last
