Pear Trees – Written January 2001 (Aged 25)

Pear Trees

the woman has pear trees
a flock of clouds
and willows swaying in her imagination
the women has golden dew
coated upon her tongue
she launches a million words
all of which sail freely in the heart
as a flock of clouds,
cross her sky
like the willows bending to true nature
they are only affected by the wind
and of course, the wind is just the future
the woman has pear tress
acres of space in her garden
she is made from braids of delicious thought
her dress is strange,
because it was never bought
her knowledge is something to gain
and it has never been taught
the woman has pear tress
a rockery made of jade,
she can see the shaking knees
and she tells me, do not be afraid
